Slicing frozen pastry at high speeds can be challenging, but with the EC-400 Rens Automation, it becomes a piece of cake.
The EC-400 was specially developed to cut round, highly viscous products. The machine is capable of slicing fresh and frozen products at temperatures as low as -20°C. The innovative blade drive and conveyor allow for accurate, high-speed slicing. The number of slices per pie or vlaai is easy to adjust, thanks to the quick-switch blade.
EC-400 is entirely oil-free
The EC-400 uses an eccentric blade drive to cut pastry, which has two important advantages compared to a hydraulic system. First of all, there is no risk of contamination. Secondly, the chance of the system malfunctioning is limited to a minimum, resulting in a very efficient machine.
Hygiene was very important to us when we designed the EC-400. The slicer is easy to clean and, if desired, can be fully IP69K-rated.
The transport system features Positive Drive belts with small overlap sections, minimising the risk of problems related to slipping and misdirection. The components used in the EC-400 were made by renowned manufacturers and are readily available worldwide.
